The Skagit River Bridge will have
a temporal repair as plans are underway to construct a temporary steel bridge across
the river. This follows the bridge collapse that happened last week.
The temporal structures are
expected to be finished within the next three weeks time. Full repairs will
proceed and are expected to be done by fall.
90% of the expense for the repairs
and replacement is going to be provided by the federal government.
